Artificial intelligence and our work

Artificial intelligence is being applied rapidly, regardless of the field. It is fair to say that the way we work itself has quietly begun to change.

If tasks such as writing, translation and image processing are automated, some of the work people have long spent time on will inevitably disappear.

On the other hand, new technology has always given birth to new occupations. What matters is not to leave every judgement to the tool, but to cultivate the ability to use it according to our purpose and the situation.

Moreover, the question of who bears responsibility for an answer produced by artificial intelligence cannot be solved by technical progress alone. Regardless of our position, society as a whole needs to keep debating it.

What we should fear, surely, is not the technology itself, but turning our eyes away from change and giving up on thinking.
